The History
The Alter Eagles are a six piece Eagles tribute band based in Sussex.
Since their debut gig in January 2004, they've established themselves
as one of the south coast's top tribute acts, headlining at theatres
like Ferneham Hall in Fareham and the Windmill in Littlehampton, The
Old Market in Brighton, and playing at outdoor festivals like
Eastbourne's Magnificent Motors Show and the Somerton Festival, as
well as key venues like The Komedia in Brighton, the Fleece in
Bristol, the Boom Boom Club in Sutton and The Horns in Watford. The
band members are Sam Confrey (lead vocals, guitars, mandolin) Jay
Stezaker (guitars, vocals) Al Tomkins (keyboards, guitars, vocals) Rob
Beattie (bass, acoustic guitar, vocals) augmented by Mike Bradley
(guitars) and Matt Hobson (drums and percussion).
